Hey y’all!
So before Christmas music and Christmas flavored goodies are in full affect, I thought I would share a few pumpkin recipes (it is still fall after all!)
This pumpkin spice smooth is super easy and would make a great snack post-workout!
Here’s what you need:
- 1/2 cup pumpkin (canned or freshly cooked)
- 1/2 frozen banana
- 3/4 cup almond milk
- 1/2 scoop vanilla protein powder
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp pumpkin pie spice
- pinch of ground ginger
Put all of the ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and enjoy!
Another deliciously healthy pumpkin snack – no-bake pumpkin oatmeal cookies.
Both of these snacks would be great to enjoy after a great run or lift session! Plus they’re pumpkin – what could be better?
